Some of our history should be celebrated, like the brave men and women who fought for justice and some of our history is to be loathed, like the men and women who stood in the way of equality for all.

Pretending that our history doesn't matter is telling American Black children that they don't matter. Or pretending that slavery, Reconstruction, and Jim Crow Laws, etc. weren't that bad is a disservice to all those who seek truth, honesty and facts.

America has a rich history, why not learn from it, rather than hide from it. This pin design is about seeking and growing from knowing the truth. FACTS MATTER!
